This Easter was filled with lots of fun activities. Saturday we had a neighborhood Easter egg hunt, filled with good friends and good times. Sunday morning we went to brunch at Evey's Grandma's where Owen found a SECOND Easter basket, and Sunday evening we had dinner at Grandma Cindy's.
We only remembered to take pictures of the Easter egg hunt, which Owen had a blast at. He was a little hesitant at first... they tried to give the younger kids a head start, and he is still a little reluctant to be the first to try something. However, he found his bearings quickly and made out with a stash of treats.
Sunday morning the Easter bunny brought him a new shirt, some fancy new socks (Owen's favorite) and a Wonder Pets play set. Owen is quite in love with Wonder Pets right now... thankfully it's a show we think is adorable to watch as well.

Scouting out the situation.
Getting some coaching from Dad.

And off he goes!

Some of the neighborhood gang.

Refueling with snacks.

Painting a bird house that he insisted we hang in the tree when we got home... we'll see if it gets any residents this year. ...oh, and I should add that fixing Owen's hair in a "ponytail" is a regular occurrence. He got hooked at day care and has since needed to purchase his very own set of detangler and rubber-bands. He's eager to fix anyone's hair... come over any time. Perhaps we have a hair dresser in the making.

I managed to find some pictures Evey's family took...

The two of them showing off their Easter surprises!
The kids practicing their dog pile skills.
